Infinite Jets use the Tradewinds to travel from SXSW to Dallas

What a lovely bunch of guys?

What a lovely bunch of guys?

The Infinite Jets  are from Charlottesville, VA  and will be coming to Dallas after being in  SXSW. They will be playing at the Tradewinds Social Club with The Chiefs (Dallas) and the River Monks on Saturday, March 17. The band are touring in support of a new EP being released in the Spring of 2012.

Infinite Jets formed in early 2011. The group is made up of two guitarists, Matt Bierce (formerly of Drunk Tigers) and Drew Carroll (formerly of Red Satellites) who both take turns at the microphone and are joined by Dave Stone on lead guitar, Scott Ritchie on bass, and Greg Sloan on drums. The result is the kind of sweaty, supercharged guitar rock that your older brother might have dug back when he was flunking out of college.

The Tradewinds Social Club is at 2843 W Davis St, Dallas. The music is always free and they are known for their gorgeous homemade pizza.

So swing by and check out Infinite Jets, doors open at 8PM.
