Carrie Layne Joins Randi Zuckerberg and Steve Wozniak at Dallas Digital Summit

Carrie Layne, Founder and CEO of BestBuzz, is sharing her wisdom at “The Region’s Largest Digital Gathering,” Dallas Digital Summit 2013. Because of her extensive knowledge of all things mobile and social, she has been asked to participate on two panels. The first is the Shifting Shoppers: How Social & Mobile Are Change E-Commerce panel with Angie Shumway, Director of Online Marketing for On Target Digital and a yet to be revealed marketing executive from McKinsey. The second is entitled Multi-Channel Strategies: Using Social, Mobile, Web, & Email with the Senior Director of Online Marketing for GOLF channel, Michael Friedman and Ly Tran, Director of Digital Strategy & Architecture at Proof Advertising.

Both panels will be an opportunity for those watching to learn from Carrie and the panel about the subjects covered by hearing real world applications. The moderator will ask a set of diverse questions to open up the conversation and then the audience will have an opportunity to participate. The sessions are about an hour long, so show up early to make sure you catch all the information.

Why did Dallas Digital Summit Want Carrie Layne?

Carrie Layne is the founder and CEO of BestBuzz. She is a pioneer in the digital marketing space with over 15 years of industry experience. She began her career in the late 90s at Saatchi & Saatchi Interactive in San Francisco, where she worked on emerging digital strategies for brands like Proctor & Gamble and HP.

Carrie launched her first startup while living in the Cayman Islands, and in 2011, Layne launched BestBuzz, a mobile app that rewards customers for generating “buzz” about the best places and products. BestBuzz helps brands boost customer acquisition and drive loyalty through mobile entry-points (MEP) and location-aware triggers, which are managed and tracked through the BestBuzz, integrated marketing software platform. BestBuzz has offices in Dallas, New York and Grand Cayman, and clients include Fortune 1,000 companies and leading digital and PR agencies.

Layne is on the Dallas Business Journal’s prestigious “40 Under Forty” list, and her company has been ranked as one of the Top Ten Best Places to Work in Dallas. BestBuzz has several mobile technology patents-pending and has been named one of the Top 10 Hottest Startups by Tech Cocktail and Startup America.
